Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) Challenge Butter
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- red and blue food coloring
- powdered sugar
Directions
-
1To make the cookie dough, start by creaming the butter. Then gradually add sugar and flour. Beat until light and fluffy.

-
3Center each portion of dough into its own gallon-sized plastic food storage bag and chill dough anywhere from 20 minutes to several days.
-
4Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut out stars with 3-inch star shaped cutters, and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes or until edges are slightly browned.
-
5Remove cookies from oven and dust them with powdered sugar, either with a shaker or by gently shaking them in a bag with powered sugar.
