Bacon Chive Butter

  • ½ cup (1 stick) Challenge Butter, softened
  • 6 pieces bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 3 Tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Steaks

  • 4-6 steaks, any cut

Directions

Bacon Chive Butter

    Cream butter in small bowl using a fork or electric mixer.

    Gradually blend in other butter ingredients. Butter mixture can be used while still soft; or it can be rolled into a cylinder in parchment paper or plastic wrap and refrigerated or frozen, then sliced into thin rounds.

    Flavored butter can be stored a couple days in the refrigerator or it can be frozen for several weeks.

Steaks

  • 4

    Season steaks with salt and pepper and place on pre-heated grill. Cook until desired doneness. Place 1 Tablespoon of bacon chive butter on each steak and serve.
