Salted Caramel Apple Cider

It’s easy to fall for this sweet autumn sipper, not just for its luxurious buttery caramel flavor and texture, but because it’s so easy to make. Pick up a quart of apple cider, a package of Challenge Salted Caramel Spreadable Butter, and a couple apples, then heat, season with pantry spices, garnish and serve.

  • 4 cups apple cider
  • ¼ cup Challenge Salted Caramel Spreadable Butter, plus more for garnish
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • cinnamon sticks, for garnish
  • sliced apples, for garnish

    Heat cider in a medium saucepan over medium heat. When hot, add Challenge Salted Caramel Spreadable Butter, cinnamon and nutmeg. Whisk until melted and combined.

    Ladle cider into 4 mugs and garnish with a cinnamon stick and a sliced apple spread with more Caramel butter. Serve hot.
