Nothing screams the holidays like sugar cookies. This year, I put a twist on mine by turning them into parfaits with warming cinnamon and apple. I love that you can make this a festive fancy dessert for an adult or make smaller versions to wow your kiddos. Enjoy!
- 2-3 cups leftover sugar cookies, crumbled
- 2 packages Challenge Cream Cheese
- 2 Tablespoons cinnamon
- ¾ cup confectioners sugar
- ½ cup milk (or cream)
- 3 cups apple sauce
With a stand mixer on medium speed, combine the cream cheese, confectioners sugar, cinnamon and milk. Mix for about 10 minutes on medium to high speed until well mixed and creamy.
Pour one layer of créme in a parfait glass and cover with apple sauce. Sprinkle with a generous amount of sugar cookies and add another layer of cinnamon créme. Garnish with some more apple sauce and sugar cookies and serve right away, or keep refrigerated for up to 1 day.
